Commis de cuisine
The Hotel Danieli, a Luxury Collection Hotel, part of Marriott International, is currently looking for a Commis de Cuisine.
The Commis de Cuisine will report to the Executive Chef and she/he will be part of a Kitchen department. It is a seasonal full-time role (40-hour working week made of 8 hours per 5 days and 2 days off).

A patrimony of Venetian excellence, Hotel Danieli dominates the lagoon steps away from the Bridge of Sighs and St. Mark’s Square. The palatial atmosphere of the hotel house a rich collection of precious art and antiques artfully blended with contemporary comforts to indulge the wishes of cultured global travelers.
Moreover, the right candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the most admired Chef for the so-called fusion cuisine of regional and traditional dishes where the product quality and the technique are fundamental.

What you’ll be doing
Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu
Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner
Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature
Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers
What we’re looking for
Experience in the role in 5* hotels or fine dining restaurant is a big plus
Great teamwork skills and attention to detail
Positive outlook and outgoing personality
This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required. Prior to employment, we’ll ask you to complete safety training and certification.
