The Hotel
Following two years of extensive renovation, the historic Albergo Italia reopens under the new name Le Graal Cortina, part of the luxury collection “Le Graal.”
This 5-star luxury hotel, featuring a contemporary and sophisticated design, aims to offer guests a unique and memorable hospitality experience through impeccable, empathetic, and spontaneous service. The goal is to create a welcoming and refined atmosphere where every guest feels valued and pampered. The primary objective of the team is to excel in every aspect of the guest experience—from warm welcomes and personalized attention to the high quality and uniqueness of dining and wellness services.
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and guest-focused Booking Agent to join our esteemed 5-star luxury hotel in the heart of the Dolomites. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a passion for delivering unparalleled guest experiences, and a keen eye for detail. As a Booking Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring their reservations are handled with the utmost professionalism and care. As this is a new opening, a key responsibility will be the configuration of the property management system.
Key Responsibilities
• Reservation Management: Handle incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms, providing accurate information on room availability, rates, packages, and amenities.
• Booking Processing: Accurately input reservation details into the hotel’s Property Management System (PMS), ensuring all guest information, preferences, and special requests are correctly recorded.
• Guest Assistance: Assist guests with modifications, cancellations, and special requests, ensuring a seamless and personalized booking experience.
• Upselling and Promotion: Identify opportunities to upsell room categories, packages, and hotel services to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize revenue.
• Communication: Collaborate with the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Sales departments to coordinate room assignments and special requests, ensuring a cohesive guest experience.
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to reservations promptly and professionally.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of reservation activities and generate reports as needed for management analysis.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in reservations or front office role within a 5 stars luxury hotel
• Proficiency in hotel reservation systems (e.g., Opera PMS) and familiarity with online booking platforms. Mandatory knowledge of the SynXis reservation system.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
