Housekeeping Manager
New Italian Luxury Hospitality brand with 3 openings planned in Italy between 2026 and 2027. Born with the goal of creating a collection of 10 Hotels in the coming years, the brand is based on an ambitious and original vision of contemporary Hospitality. The Hotels are positioned in the luxury 5-star segment with different and unexpected concepts and a particular focus on design, culture and sensory experiences.
Following two years of extensive renovation, the historic Albergo Italia is reopening as an innovative 5-star luxury Hotel, featuring a contemporary and sophisticated design, aims to offer guests a unique and memorable hospitality experience through impeccable, empathetic, and spontaneous service.

The primary objective of the team is to excel in every aspect of the guest experience—from warm welcomes and personalized attention to the high quality and uniqueness of dining and wellness services.
Our Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire housekeeping department, ensuring that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene. This role plays a critical part in delivering an exceptional guest experience, in line with the standards of a luxury hotel, by leading a professional, efficient, and detail-oriented team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train and supervise the HSK team, including room attendants, public area staff and laundry attendants.
- Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness, order and maintenance throughout all areas of the hotel.
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures, checklists and quality control standards, leading by example.
- Coordinate with the Front Office, Maintenance and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely room readiness.
- Manage linen inventories, amenities, uniforms and cleaning supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and cost control.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas regularly to ensure compliance with luxury standards and immediate resolution of issues.
- Oversee laundry operations and liaise with external providers as necessary.
- Handle guest feedback and special requests with discretion, efficiency and personalized service.
- Ensure compliance with LQA, Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.
- Monitor department budgets, schedules and staffing needs, optimizing resources and productivity.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar leadership role in a 5-star or luxury hotel environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Housekeeping procedures, materials and equipment.
- Excellent knowledge of LQA standards.
- Strong leadership, organizational and team building skills.
- Excellent attention to details and a passion for maintaining high standards.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in HSK management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work under pressure, with flexibility regarding schedules, weekends and holidays.
- Professional demeanor, discretion and a guest-focused attitude.
