– Maintenance Technician / Duty Engineer
The Maintenance Technician / Duty Engineer plays a key role in ensuring the seamless operation and exceptional standards of a luxury residential environment. This position is responsible for maintaining all building systems, technical equipment, and facilities to the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability.
Working within the Engineering team, the role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who takes pride in delivering efficient technical support while contributing to the comfort and satisfaction of residents and guests. The Maintenance Technician ensures that all facilities remain fully operational and maintained in accordance with the property’s luxury standards.

Key Responsibilities
Engineering Operations
• Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Engineering department during assigned shifts.
• Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Maintain optimal performance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Monitor and support building technologies including home automation, television systems, heating, and air conditioning.

Facility Excellence
• Maintain all residential and common areas to the highest standards of functionality, cleanliness, and presentation.
• Conduct daily and weekly engineering inspections and complete maintenance checklists.
• Ensure that engineering workshops, storage areas, and technical rooms are organized and compliant with safety standards.

Resident Experience
• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from residents.
• Provide discreet, courteous, and efficient service while working within residential spaces.
• Communicate relevant information and resident requests to management in a timely manner.

Vendor & Contractor Coordination
• Coordinate and assist external contractors such as electricians, plumbers, painters, and other service providers.
• Support the management and receipt of engineering department deliveries and materials.
• Assist with procurement of technical supplies and spare parts when required.

Events & Technical Setup
• Support the preparation of shared spaces such as the Club Lounge for events and resident activities.
• Assist with the setup and testing of audiovisual equipment including monitors, microphones, and presentation systems.

Safety & Compliance
• Follow all property engineering procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and workplace regulations.
• Maintain safe storage and handling of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Support inventory management for the Engineering department when required.

Preferred Qualifications
• Technical diploma or training in building maintenance, facility management, or plant engineering.
• Previous experience in luxury hotels, private residences, resorts, or high-end residential properties preferred.
• Good command of English.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and building automation technologies.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
