The Gstaad Palace, with 90 rooms and suites, 5 restaurants, 2 bars, and a legendary nightclub, is an internationally renowned 5-star luxury hotel. Owned by the Scherz family, it is one of the last traditionally family-run grand hotels – a true Swiss landmark.
As of June 2026, we are looking for a
Maître d’Hôtel Roomservice (m/w)
in fixed-term employment
Your responsibilities include:
· Managing and coordinating the Room Service outlet
· Optimizing service procedures and workflows
· Training and developing the team
· Preparing for high-standard service operations
· Providing attentive guest service and care
· Performing Maître de Rang duties in the various service outlets of the hotel
· Advising guests on food and beverage selections
· Ensuring compliance with and implementation of LQA service standards
What defines you:
· Completed training as a certified restaurant specialist (EFZ) or a degree from a hotel management school
· You are an energetic, well-groomed person who enjoys engaging with guests
· You enjoy working in a team
· You are flexible, resilient, responsible, detail-oriented, and customer-focused
· Good knowledge of French and English; German is an advantage
