Senior Mice Manager – ITALY Precise Hotels & Resorts, Rome.

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Senior MICE Manager to join our team in Italy.
The ideal candidate has solid experience in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) sector, with a strong focus on sales and optimizing the customer experience across multiple properties in our hotel group.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy Development
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve MICE revenue targets in the hotel cluster in Italy.
• Identify market trends, opportunities and the competitive environment to adapt strategies effectively.
2. Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners and agencies
• Conduct regular meetings and follow-ups to understand client needs and ensure their satisfaction.
3. Event Coordination
• Collaborate with hotel operations teams to ensure flawless execution of events and conferences
• Oversee all aspects of MICE events, from planning to budgeting, to post-event analysis.
4. Sales Performance Analysis
• Monitor and analyze sales performance data, providing regular reports to management
• Adapt sales tactics based on results and feedback received.
5. Marketing Collaboration
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns targeted to the MICE segment
• Participate in trade fairs, events and networking activities to promote the MICE offering of the Italia group.
6. TEAM Leadership
• Train and support sales team members to improve their skills and performance in the MICE sector
• Promote a collaborative and results-oriented culture within the team.
7. Budget Management
• Manage and optimize the MICE sales budget and ensure profitability
• Monitor expenses and analyze the return on investment of MICE initiatives.
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience in MICE sales and in managing a team of at least 2 people in the hospitality sector, with proven results in achieving objectives.
• Excellent knowledge of the Italian MICE market and its dynamics
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent knowledge of the Office package and hotel management software (e.g. Opera, Lanyon, Cvent)
• Excellent command of Italian and English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
