ROOMS SUPERVISOR

The Glamore Milano Duomo, 5 stars hotel situate in the centre of Milan, is looking for a profile of Rooms Supervisor who will report directly to the Resident Manager of the hotel.
The Rooms Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining guestrooms, stores, working areas, and keeping the hotel premises in general in clean and tidy as well as coordinating the daily housekeeping operations.
The Rooms Supervisor will also be responsible for supervising room attendants to deliver an excellent guest satisfaction and experience.
Rooms Supervisor Duties
• To ensure standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness in all bedrooms /corridors/function rooms /public areas are maintained.
• Supervise room attendants.
• Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms.
• Stocks and maintains supply rooms; orders supply according to a budget.
• Manage the stores on the floors.
• Receives, processes, and handles guest complaints in regard to housekeeping services.
• Ensuring of upkeep of vacant rooms.
• Organize and facilitates the room making process.
• Resolving any guest problems or complaints when possible and ensure management are kept informed.
• Check and report any maintenance issue to ensure quality standards and guest satisfaction.
• Manage guest requests and communicating them to the relevant team members.
• Carry out lost and found procedure.
• To liaise with reception on a daily basis.
• Perform administrative duties.

Experience
Minimum of 3 years in a housekeeping supervisory position in luxury hotels.
