MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Listed below are the minimum mandatory requirements for candidates for this role.
 A minimum of 2 years in a revenue management and/or analytical role.
 Preferred:
o An international hotel chain or hotel group.
o A luxury hotel affiliated with LHW
o A minimum of 1 year in a resort environment.
 Operation knowledge of the following systems:
o Protel, Vertical Booking, SynXis, other PMS, CRS
 Excellent skills in Excel and high-level presentation skills via PowerPoint or other tools.
 Native or fluent in Italian (written and spoken)
 Fluent in English (written and spoken)
 Must be EU Citizen or in possession of Italian work visa.
PREFERRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
Listed below are preferred skills and knowledge for this role which will be considered as an advantage.
 Previous experience in hotel operations (Front Office, Reservations, other)
 Operational knowledge of RMS: Duetto, Ideas, other
 Expertise of OTA’s – Extranet, functionality, etc.
 Knowledge of Rate Shopping software
OBJECTIVE OF THIS ROLE
The Revenue & Distribution Analyst (RDA) will work with the Corporate Revenue & Distribution Manager and the revenue team to coordinate all revenue strategies across all of the IHC hotels. He/She works closely with the digital marketing and sales teams as well as the operations teams in each hotel.
He/She reports to the Corporate Revenue and Distribution Manager.
Office Location: Milano
Travel: occasional a required
SCOPE OF THIS ROLE
 Ensure professional and efficient utilization of all systems, in line with company best practices and standard operating procedures.
 Ensure that sales and pricing strategies are based on sound commercial judgement through effective analysis and reporting.
 Ensure effective information gathering and analysis is conducted in order to identify and maximise on all possible opportunities and minimise any risks.
 Competitive and Demand Analysis: ensures rate shopping data is consistent, appropriate and effectively analysed
 Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
 Optimize distribution partnerships.
 Ensures occupancy and inventory are optimized within hotels.
 Provides critical analysis of strategies, room statistics and demand factors.
 Build and maintain strong working relationships with levels of staff at IHC hotels.
 Promote a revenue management culture.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
 Execute revenue management and distribution strategy of the hotels and day to day yield operations.
 Elaborate daily KPI analyses via Excel, BI Tools, other analytic software
 Apply daily rate and inventory updates
 Periodic Rate loading within PMS, CRS, GDS
 Ensure all related systems are configured correctly
 Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting.
 Perform competitive benchmark studies and follow market trends.
 Ensure web site booking process is maintained up-to-date and functional.
 Regularly check the input and the quality of data (segmentation, denials tracking, etc.).
 Evaluate performance of distribution partners and contracted rates (OTA, FIT, tour operator, corporate, consortia, groups, etc).
 Support the annual revenue budget process.
 Any other reasonable requests made by management.
