Reservation Agent

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Reservation Agent for Borgo Santo Pietro, an award-winning five-star luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of Tuscan countryside, surrounded by a 300-acre organic farm, vineyards and wonderful gardens.

The individual is passionate about hospitality with a positive attitude, excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Main responsibilities:

– Act as a key contact for guests during the booking process.

– Handle reservation inquiries via phone, email, or online channels, providing information about room availability, rates, packages, amenities, and assisting guests in making reservations based on their preferences and requirements.

– Register reservation details into the hotel’s reservation system, including guest information, room preferences, special requests, and payment details, ensuring completeness and correctness of reservation records.

– Address and solve any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.

– Assist guests with inquiries, requests, or changes to existing reservations, including modifications to booking dates, room types, etc…, and provide solutions to ensure guest satisfaction and retention.

– Promote hotel services, amenities, and packages to guests during the reservation process, identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling to enhance the guest experience and maximize revenue for the hotel.

– Answer any questions customers might have about the reservation process.

– Liaise and collaborate with other departments for a smooth communication flow.

Candidate profile:

– Fluent level of English and Italian languages is required.

– At least two years of experience in a similar role in luxury hotels is an asset.  

– Knowledge of hospitality software is compulsory.

– Knowledge of LQA standards is preferred.

– Excellent customer service attitude.

– Outstanding communication and organizational skills.

– Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations.

Full time, seasonal contract

Location: Chiusdino (SI), Italy

Period: spring 2025 – autumn 2025
