For the 2023 Season we are looking for:
JOB TITLE: Public Area Cleaner
HOTEL / UNIT: San Clemente Palace Kempinski Venice
REPORTS TO: Housekeeping Supervisor
Responsible for cleaning and supplying all assigned areas according to standards as set by Kempinski. Work with office coordinator to assist with housekeeping tasks.
The job of Public Area Cleaner is executed satisfactorily when:
1. Assigned public areas are cleaned in time and according to standard.
2. Public areas and back of house are well maintained.
3. Hygiene standards are strictly monitored and followed.
4. LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) audit results are 85% and above.
I. Mop, dust, wax, polish, sweep, vacuum all public areas and staff areas as assigned i.e. lobby, lifts, staff locker room, corridors etc.
II. Maintain, clean, disinfect public area, rest rooms and employee locker rooms, air conditioning vents, walls, lamps, elevators, carpets, floors and marble precisely according to trained and established methods.
III. Replenish and record consumption of public area rest room supplies daily, assists guests in using the public area comfort facilities and practices courtesy towards guests at all times in a pleasant and helpful manner.
IV. Know and adhere strictly to Lost & Found procedures.
V. Re-arrange furniture layout whenever necessary.
VI. Empty litter bins and ashtrays regularly according to procedures. Must be ready to attend training program to improve his efficiency.
VII. Alert, well informed about the Hotel and able to work during peak hours rapidly, maintaining a constant standard of performance.
VIII. Maintain Housekeeping cleaning machines in perfect condition.
IX. Report to Supervisor any sickness or unusual behavior of guests.
Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.
