For the 2023 Season we are looking for:

JOB TITLE: People Training Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Human Resources
HOTEL / UNIT: San Clemente Palace Kempinski Venice
REPORTS TO: Director Human Resources / Human Resources Manager

SCOPE
Kempinski training aims to provide strategic focus by developing and implementing great trainers and great training tools.

The overall scope of a Hotel Training Coordinator is to support the Training Manager to deliver the above mission statement while preparing and developing themselves for a future training leadership or operational role.

OVERALL OBJECTIVE

The job of People Training Coordinator is executed satisfactorily when:

1. All training sessions are prepared and set-up in advance.

2. The training room is decorated and neatly arranged.

3. Training documents are up-to-date, proper and free of errors.

4. An attractive monthly training plan is posted and available for all employees.

5. Training boards are maintained and constantly updated.

6. Every employee has a training record.

7. Employees are invited and reminded to attend mandatory training sessions.

8. Basic training sessions are delivered by the Training Coordinator themselves.

9. Feedback and effectiveness of training activities are compiled.

10. The Training Coordinator is well respected by staff members.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

i. Prepare and deliver training programmes.

ii. Follow-up on management training activities and departmental training.

iii. Track overall training and training results.

iv. Prepare and update training tools.

v. Coordinate external training.

vi. Market training activities in-house.

vii. Update hotel training pages on my.kempinski.

viii. Prepare training needs analysis.

ix. Research and design new training programmes.

x. Lead by example and promote Kempinski’s core values.

xi. Understand and strictly adhere to the rules & regulations established in the employee handbook and to the hotel’s policies on fire, hygiene, health & safety.

Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.
