Operations Manager

JOB AIMS & REQUIREMENTS
For our Tuscany 5* resort Bagni di Pisa Palace&Thermal Spa we are looking for a talented Operations Manager who guarantees the regular operation and efficiency of the departments of his coordination and competence, with the target of maintaining the high level of standard offered to the clients.
He reports directly to the Cluster General Manager of the resort and replaces him in case of his absence, as a representative of the hotel, during events, meetings and VIP’s welcome. He also interfaces with all operations teams and related managers: room division, housekeeping, food & beverage.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Guarantees the running of the activities into the resort, in line with the procedures of the hotel and the company IHC
Guarantees the supervision of the quality of service and manages emergencies that may happen during the absence of the General Manager
Coordinates, with the Maintenance Department and the Room Division, the interventions of small and ordinary maintenance, supervising the correct keeping and compilation of the relative registers and annotations
With the Director he shares the trend of revenues, employment, the rates applied and the operating and qualitative results aligned with the budget objectives
Collaborates with the Revenue team of HQ to manage all issues related to prices and price lists to be proposed in the hotel
Collaborates with the General Manager in the drafting of the annual budget and in the supervision and supervision of the monthly trend
Supports the General Manager in the management of the complains and oversees the main qualitative and quantitative indices of its function and proposes strategies for the improvement of them
Takes care of relations and with any companies involved in outsourcing services, in collaboration with the Human Resources department of the headquarters
Carries out periodic checks on the service provided by the F&B Department, compiling the relevant company checklists, in order to verify the correct application of quality standards and compliance with HACCP and food preparation standards
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of English and one or more foreign languages (French, Russian for instance)
Previous experience as hotel manager, deputy manager or room division manager in 5* resorts
Strong experience in food&beverage or room division
Knowledge of Protel and Opera operating systems
Direct experience or knowledge of the SPA sector
Knowledge of the standards of Leading Hotels of the World (LHW)
