The HR Search is looking for a MICE Account Director, based in Milan, for an International Hotel Group.
The MICE Account Director is responsible for the Meeting and Incentive room revenue production for the hotel and for proactively soliciting and handling all revenue related opportunities in the group segment. Up sells each business opportunity to maximize revenie opportunity. Achieved personal and team related revenue goals. He/She must be flexible and move to any hotels of the Group.
– Builds the department top line revenue. Identifies revenue opportunities for the hotels based on the event profile;
– Manages customer budgets to maximize revenue and meet customer needs, and identify opportunities to up-sell products and services throughtout the sales process;
– Understand the overall market – competitors’ strenght and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand…
– Builds and strenghtens relationships with existing and new customers;
– Excels at proactive selling;
– Closes the best opportunities for the hotel based on the market;
– Creates sales contracts as required;
– Comprehends budgets as needed to assist in the financial management of department.
– Previous experience in the hospitality industry (min 5 years);
– Experience selling luxury brands;
– ENGLISH is a MUST;
– Good Organised, attention to details, problem solving, teamwork, customer service orientated person;
– Flexible to travel around.
