MARKETING & COMMUNICATION MANAGER
Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas is looking for a Marketing & Communication Manager for the exclusive 5-star luxury hotel Anantara Palazzo Naiadi in Rome.
The Marketing & Communication Manager reporting to the Director of Sales & MKTG and to the GM of the hotel will be responsible for all the PR, Communication and MKTG activities, in coordination with the Area Director of PR & Social Media Brand Manager.
In particular, for the PUBLIC RELATION Area, he/she will be responsible for:
Preparing and carrying out the communication plan in coordination with the Area Director of PR and Social Media
Preparing and/or supervising of written press releases that are sent on behalf of the Hotel in accordance with the established plan and always with prior approval of the area PR Director
Creating, maintaining, and keeping an adequate database of media of different origin: local/ national/international and from different areas: corporate, lifestyle, travel, gastronomy, wellness, beauty, fashion, etc
Evaluating proposals for press visits by the media together with the Area Director and for attending the press visit to ensure them the best experience and thus a better impact on the corresponding medium for the Hotel and to monitor and ensure that the agreement reached with the corresponding media is respected
Responding to the advertising opportunities that arise, evaluating the potential for the Hotel together with Director of PR and DOSM
Encouraging the visit of teams and members of the press that are of interest to the Hotel through the different channels available
Drafting all the “official texts” of the Hotel following the standards established for each Hotel: commercial brochures, internal and external templates, web pages, etc.
Promote the hotel offers with the PR director next to LHW, or any other relevant partner such as Traveller Made, kiwi collection, Virtuoso, AMEX, etc (these changes from property to property).
For the MARKETING area he/she will:
Responsible for executing the marketing plan in coordination with the Area Director of PR and Social Media and the DOSM / EAM.
Responsible for ensuring the correct image of the Hotel in all its areas and the client’s “guest journey” according to the established standards and the philosophy of Anantara properties in coordination with the Brand Manager.
Manage the Hotel’s official website and its performance in all its areas in liaison with the BM
Seek improvement points with the Director of Guest Relations to improve the customer experience by proposing ideas that enhance it
Monitor the hotel’s online reputation at the accommodation level, responding to comments based on established standards: mainly TripAdvisor and Booking.com
Audit the special tools of Trip Advisor (Plus) to get the most out of it and have the information visible to customers updated at all times.
Maintain and update of the photographic content and texts in the different OTAs with which the Hotel works
Boost internal communication – Newspaper for clients (periodical edition based on the news of the Hotel)
Manage the Hotel’s profile on the LHW website to keep the information, texts, content and photography updated at all times.
Last but not least, as COMMUNITY MANAGER he/she will:
Be responsible for all social media channels in which the Hotel is present, preparing a periodic calendar with posting plan and nourishing information, visual and written content in each social network complying with the standards
Manage content on social networks according to their own characteristics. Actively update the strategy according to the market trends and competitive set
Encourage interaction with followers, fostering a community spirit among them
Answer all the comments of each channel within 24 hours, adapting to the language and format of each channel according to the circumstances and type of channel
Encourage the use, participation, and involvement of Hotel employees in brand social networks
Prepare a monthly report with the evolution of the number of followers per social network and a performance of the posts to identify trends and learn about the most popular topics.
The ideal candidate has a very fluent English, a bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing/Public Relations or Specific Studies in Hotel Management and at least 2 years of similar experience in a luxury company and a previous experience in luxury hotels or luxury tourism segment.
He/She excels on the knowledge of the main lifestyle and luxury brands nationally and internationally and on the importance and weight of the different international and national offline and online communication media. He/She knows the different personalities, celebrities, influencers and the values and image they transmit.
We are looking for a multitasking person with accountability and problem solving, innovation and creativity, excellent communication, organization and teamworking skills, able to develop long-term personal relationships, in addition to a high knowledge of Office automation, Digital and management of Social Networks.
