We are looking for Maître to join Maximilian Brasserie team.
As a pivotal member of our front-of-house service team, you will support our F&B Manager by greeting customers, attending and confirming reservations, seating them, and taking care of their needs during their dining experience.
You are responsible for all logistic details, including reservations and arrangements for large parties, as well as setting the ambience and atmosphere of the restaurant while maintaining the brasserie and ensuring it is clean and presentable at all times.
In addition, you are tasked with training and managing to deliver the highest possible service standards.
Our ideal candidate has extensive experience in high-end food service environments (preferably from abroad), a meticulous demeanor and sophisticated grooming standards, impeccable personal hygiene, excellent people skills, and organizational acumen.
Duties:
– Make, adjust, and cancel customer reservations
– Manage staff to ensure efficient and excellent service throughout a given seating
– Greet customers and guide them to their tables
– Answer customer questions regarding food, drinks, and specials
– Resolve customer complaints or disputes
Requirements:
– At least five years in a high-end, fast-paced restaurant environment (preferably from abroad)
– Candidates with experience from gastronomic cities such as London, Amsterdam, Paris, Lyon, Barcelona, Madrid, Northern Spain, Lisbon, Porto, Milan, Rome, Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Puglia or Vienna are appreciated and highly valued
– Adaptive organizational skills and the ability to change plans to meet new circumstances
– Strong people skills
– Excellent communication and customer service skills, including the ability to tactfully deliver unwelcome news to customer.
