Junior Pastry Chef

Sikelia Luxury Retreat is an exclusive 5*L boutique hotel in Pantelleria, where luxury and charm alternate with balance and elegance, respecting contemporary harmony and exotic surroundings.
For the summer season 2025 we are looking for:
• Junior Pastry Chef
Main duties & responsibilities:
• Take care of breakfast planning by preparing homemade cakes and pastries that may be to the close local tradition but also by developing alternative choices that will satisfy all domestic and international guests, following the Executive Chef’s instructions
• Create, develop and implement a dessert menu that reflects the style of the hotel based on the menu choices made by the Executive Chef
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure impeccable service and adhere to high quality standards.
• Manage the bakery kitchen independently, including planning and organizing daily work.
• Maintain HACCP food hygiene and safety standards.
Requisiti richiesti:
• Creativity and attention to detail
• Excellent time management, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations, specifically applied to the Hospitality industry
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work together with other hotel departments
• Fluent in Italian and English. French or a third language is a plus
