IT Coordinator Stagionale
The ideal candidate will mainly report and assist to the IT Manager and support him on all his projects coordinating his activities under his supervision. The candidate will work strictly with him in order to reach the Company overall requested results. To this end, he must have a good general IT knowledge, in the hardware, software and networking fields, with knowledge of the most used operating systems, mainly Windows, virtual environments, IOS, Android, MacOS and good knowledge of virtual networks, subnetting calculations, firewalls and network infrastructures in general. The candidate must also have a good knowledge of the English language to interface with the various vendor supports and have problem solving skills both autonomously and through assistances. He will also have to acquire knowledge with the aid and support of IT Manager and Engineering department regarding the room TV entertainment, chromecast and IP telephony in use at the hotel, and help guests in the wifi connection of their devices or connecting them to the Television system.
Prepare and distribute mobile phones to associates, inventory of all hotel items, troubleshoot and repair technical problems or issues related to computer hardware and peripheral equipment including mobile phones. Respond to program error messages by finding and correcting problems. Provide technical guidance and recommendations to resolve business problems. Refer and follow up major hardware/software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service. Maintain all devices updated to the latest software/hardware security updates / patches. Prepare and replace new computers.
Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and/or report them to management and security/safety personnel. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., POS credit cards devices) for integrity. Perform other job duties as requested by IT Manager.
