Human Resources Internship (stage curriculare)
An exciting internship opportunity has arisen for a motivated and people-oriented HR Intern to perform administrative tasks and support our HR department’s daily activities at Belmond Sicily. This internship will be carried out only in agreement with schools/universities (“stage curriculare”, so-called).
The ideal candidate is passionate for the hospitality business and willing to provide authentic, luxury experiences in world-renowned destinations to our guests, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community.
As a Human Resources Intern, you will be shadowing and supporting the Human Resources team with the following tasks :
Assist employees with all HR requests and needs and in the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR department;
Take care of the internal communication;
Support the HR department with the administration and the attendance management platform;
Assist in new hire onboarding process;
Handle incoming phone calls;
Manage and organise the weekly office supplies;
Assist HR manager with staff welfare activities and initiatives;
Assist with the recruitment process by creating job postings, pre-screening potential candidates for internal vacancies and scheduling interviews;
Assist with the organisation of Learning & Development calendar;
Organise and run fun and motivating CSR events.
You have strong communication skills (verbal and written) in Italian and English;
You are enrolled in a Bachelors program in Hotel Management or Human Resources Management;
You are passionate about people;
You have an “I can do it” attitude and love new challenges;
You have an eye for detail and are able to multitask;
Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
Recent graduate or currently studying towards a hospitality/HR related degree.
6-month internship availability;
Meal & reimbursement of expenses of 300 euros for month (accommodation is not provided);
