For the 2023 Season we are looking for:
JOB TITLE: Human Resources Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Human Resources
HOTEL / UNIT: San Clemente Palace Kempinski Venice
REPORTS TO: Director of Human Resources / Human Resources Manager
SCOPE
This position is responsible for supporting the Human Resources department in all administrative and other assigned areas.
OVERALL OBJECTIVE / MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
The job of Assistant Human Resources Manager/ Human Resources Coordinator is executed satisfactorily when:
1. Application Handling:
a) Employment requests are acknowledged within 48 hours.
b) Every applicant receives a personalized response to their application.
c) Applicant correspondence is handled in a timely and professional manner and interviews are set up on behalf of management.
d) CVs are distributed to Heads of Department and followed-up on.
e) Every applicant receives a final response to their employment request.
2. Kempinski recruitment web-site:
a) All vacancies are posted.
b) The hotel page of the recruitment web-site is up-to-date and well maintained.
3. On-boarding:
a) All new joiners are personally welcomed and necessary paperwork completed in an organized and efficient manner.
b) New joiner starting dates are communicated and coordinated with the respective HODs and the Training department.
4. Administration:
a) Every employee has a complete employee file.
b) Employee and payroll data is maintained in systems.
c) Vacation and sick leave are tracked.
d) TTTTs are tracked.
e) Employees anniversaries are tracked and anniversary gifts and cards are personally handed over by the Head or Department, Hotel and/or General Manager.
5. Maintenance:
a) The employee communication boards are up-to-date and attractive.
b) The employee locker rooms and cafeteria are looked after.
c) Employees are welcomed to the People Services office in a warm and friendly manner.
6. Exit:
a) Every leaver receives an exit interview.
b) Every leaver respecting a notice period receives an employment certificate on their last working day.
Additional objectives and responsibilities can be added at any time, depending on the need of the business and hotel.
