For the 2023 Season we are looking for:

JOB TITLE: Houseman – Linen Runner
DEPARTMENT : Housekeeping
HOTEL / UNIT : San Clemente Palace Kempinski Venice
REPORTS TO: Housekeeping Supervisor

SCOPE

Clean hotel areas as assigned, ensuring the hotel’s established standards of cleanliness. Responsible to report maintenance deficiencies and handle guest requests or complaints. Work with office coordinator to assist with housekeeping tasks.

OVERALL OBJECTIVES

The job of Houseman – Linen Runner is executed satisfactorily when:

1. Rooms are cleaned in time and according to standard.

2. Housekeeping Trolleys are well maintained.

3. Hygiene standards are strictly monitored and followed.

4. LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) audit results are 85% and above.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

I. Attend the daily line up in time and well groomed.

II. Ensure security of any assigned keys and beeper.

III. Review assignment sheet and update completed assignments. Check with Supervisor and Housekeeping office for additional assignments throughout the shift.

IV. Organize work duty priorities.

V. Review assigned area and complete general removal of any trash or debris.

VI. Stock cleaning carts with designated supplies and equipment.

VII. Clean designated areas with proper chemicals, tools and equipment.

VIII. Ensure that nothing is stored in stairwells, fire exits and lift landings.

IX. Remove dust, dirt, marks and fingerprints from doors and door frames.

X. Polish all brass surfaces to a high gloss.

XI. Empty vacuum cleaner bags, replace and clean machines.

XII. Stock vending machines in public and employee bathrooms.

XIII. Be fully aware of the Laundry Pick up policy and be able to assist the Laundry Attendant.

XIV. Report any damages or maintenance problems to the Supervisor.

XV. Turn over any lost and found items to the Supervisor.

XVI. Adhere to all company procedures and policies.

XVII. Ensure that housekeeping pantries are stocked with sufficient linen.

XVIII. Assist room attendants with transport linen guest room to housekeeping pantries.

Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.
