GROUP SALES AGENT
NH Hotel Group is looking for a Booking Agent, responsible for managing group reservations in the Group Sales Office of NH Hotels for Italy. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent.
By reporting to the Team Leader, her/his main functions will be:
– Sell rooms and meeting spaces for M&E groups and Leisure Groups.
– Answer in a professional, efficient, friendly manner to communications from guests, travel agents, and referral networks.
– Maintain a positive selling approach to maximise yield.
– Resolve conflicts, making decisions/negotiating: listen to guests and actively looking for way to help them, choosing the best solution, handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts.
The ideal candidate is proficient with standard office technologies, including Office package.
Very good command of English and Italian (spoken and written) is required. Other languages are appreciated.
The following skills are required: flexibility, stress tolerance, attention to detail, negotiation, creative thinking.
This position will be based in Milan.
