Director of Rooms Operation on annual contract.
The Grand Hotel Miramare in Santa Margherita Ligure, a member of “The leading hotels of the world” and one of the most prestigious and internationally renowned hotels on the Italian Riviera is looking for a:
Director of Rooms Operation who is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the front office, concierge, valet services, housekeeping and laundry services. She/He will also be responsible for providing all guests with quality service while maximizing room revenue and productivity, and developing future managers and other employees.
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent communication skills. Professional and appropriate business demeanor
4-5 years experience in a comparable position in a luxury hotel operation
Excellent knowledge of all aspects of Rooms Division Operations with guest service and problem resolution skills.
The duties and responsibilities of the Director of Rooms Operation include:
Coordinating and organizing all aspects of the Rooms Division operation, ensuring total compliance with standards of operation. Ensuring that staffing is maintained at an appropriate level to match business demand. Handling all guest complaints delivering excellent customer service throughout the customer experience and inspiring others to do the same. Interacting with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
Staying visible and interacting with customers on a regular basis to obtain feedback on quality of product, service levels and overall satisfaction.
We are offering an annual contract with 2 days off in the week for this position with the start date to be mutually agreed on, single room off-property, incentive plan and other benefits.
This role is a part of the Executive Team and will report directly to the General Manager.
