The Gstaad Palace with 90 rooms and suites, 5 restaurants, 2 bars and a legendary nightclub is an internationally renowned 5-star luxury hotel. It is owned by the Scherz family and is one of the last traditionally family-run Grand Hotels – a landmark in Switzerland.
We are looking from mid-June 2024 or by mutual agreement for a:
Demi Chef de Pâtisserie
(Summer Season 2024)
Your area of responsibility includes
- Carrying out all work in the production area in accordance with quality and management guidelines
- Preparing, processing and arranging all desserts, cakes and pastries according to instructions and in consultation with the Chef Pâtisserie
- Providing the required mise-en-place
- Respect the kitchen standards and hygiene regulations
- Proper storage of all food
- Care and cleaning of all work areas and equipment
- Respect all HACCP guidelines
That makes you stand out:
- You have completed an apprenticeship as a pastry chef/confectioner
- You have already gained initial professional experience in first-class establishments
- In addition to your quality awareness, you are characterised by flexibility, resilience, team spirit and enthusiasm
- You can communicate in Italian and English, other languages are an advantage
