CHEF DE RANG
Reporting to the maître, the selected resource will be in charge of a specific station of the restaurant.
The main responsibilities will be:
Ensuring and organizing the set-up of the dining room and tables, taking care of their functionality and aesthetics;
Welcoming guests, guiding them to the tables, presenting the menu and wine list, suggesting the best pairings, and managing table service;
Coordinating and monitoring the commis waiters assigned to him/her.
Graduation in the tourism/hotel industry.
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position in luxury hotels or high-level restaurants.
Familiarity with the mise en place techniques of an à la carte restaurant and banqueting.
Fluent English and a second foreign language are considered a plus.
Pleasant personality and positive attitude, with a strong sense of aesthetics and attention to details and quality.
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to anticipate the guests’ needs, and work both in a team and independently.
Residence/domicile in Amalfi or nearby is considered a plus.
FIXED-TERM CONTRACT MAY-DEC 2023.
