We are looking for a Chef de Partie for the next season (spring/summer 2024) to join our kitchen team.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/She is willing to provide authentic and luxury dining experiences, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community.

He/She will work with professionals in the sector, in large teams, with products and raw materials of excellent quality.

Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Meal preparation: cooking and preparing food for each service.
  • Maintain safety, health and hygiene standards in all areas of the kitchen.
  • Controls incoming goods and stores them in perfect conditions.
  • Monitors portion and waste control.
  • Performs all duties assigned by the Sous Chef and/or Executive Chef.
  • Coordinate and monitor all Demi and Commis de partie assigned to him/her

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of cooking styles, equipments and raw materials processing techniques
  • At least 3 years of previous professional experience within the same role in a luxury environment
  • Tourism or Hospitality degree preferred
  • Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally

  • Collaboration: be able and willing to work as a team player
  • Drive results: provide genuine and consistent high levels of service by anticipating and exceeding expectations of guests and colleagues
  • Global perspective: treat each other with respect and inclusiveness regardless of position, level or background
  • HACCP certification

Belmond and you:

  • We offer seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo – Level 4, Chef de Partie.
  • Start date: April/May 2024 to End date: September 2024, with the aim of a continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido and a career path.
  • Salary as by CCNL + increase based on seniorirty and skill level, separate payslip for 13°,14° and TFR
