Assistant Housekeeping Manager
Room Mate Giulia Hotel in Milano, boutique design Hotel designed by Patricia Urquiola, right next to Duomo Square & Galleria Vittorio Emanuele is looking for a full time Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our team and work in tandem with our Housekeeping Manager to make sure to keep up our high standard of room presentation.
Housekeeper Management/Supervison Experience in other medium-sized hotels.
Previous experience in same position for at least 1 year.
Cleaning and housekeeping supervisor in company indirectly related to the sector (eg hospitals).
Tourism Diploma or higher education.
Implementation of Housekeeping department quality and service standard. Assignment of rooms for cleaning (Arrivals, Stay and Departures).
Carry out budgets.
Amenities stock control.
Inventory of Hotel equipment.
Training Housekeeping staff.
Participation in Hotel Management meetings.
Meetings with Housekeeping staff.
Lost and found control.
Checking and controlling cleaning of the rooms and common areas (monitoring).
Maintenance Control (coordination with Reception dept.).
Laundry, linen, and ironer management.
Supervise the level of customer satisfaction with the service.
Tools & software:
Microsoft Office (word, excel, power point and access)
Knowledge of hotel management software Opera
Knowledge in Word and Excel
Additional knowledge in MMSAP Invoice Administration software will be valued highly.
Additional knowledge in household cleaning products is also a plus
40 Hours per week.
RAL €26.000 + Meal Vouchers.
Initial 3/6 months contracts followed by renewal or permanent position.
