ASSISTANT HOUSEKEEPING MANAGER

Following two years of extensive renovation, the historic Albergo Italia reopens under the new name Le Graal Cortina, part of the luxury collection “Le Graal.”
This 5-star luxury hotel, featuring a contemporary and sophisticated design, aims to offer guests a unique and memorable hospitality experience through impeccable, empathetic, and spontaneous service. The goal is to create a welcoming and refined atmosphere where every guest feels valued and pampered. The primary objective of the team is to excel in every aspect of the guest experience—from warm welcomes and personalized attention to the high quality and uniqueness of dining and wellness services.
Responsibilities:
Support the Housekeeping Manager in coordinating and super visioning the Housekeeping Team, including recruiting and training new members.
Ensure operational excellence: Develop and implement cleaning procedures, protocols, and standards to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel and monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure adherence to cleanliness and presentation standards and address any issues promptly.
Coordinate with the Front Office, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely room readiness.
Manage linen inventories, amenities, uniforms, and cleaning supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and cost control.
Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly and kindly to guest requests, concerns, and feedback, striving to exceed expectations and resolving issues with professionalism and discretion.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate housekeeping activities and address cross-functional needs
Support the oversee of laundry operations and liaise with external providers as necessary.
Handle guest feedback and special requests with discretion, efficiency, and personalized service.
Qualifications:
Experience in housekeeping management within the luxury hotel industry.
Fluency in both Italian and English, an additional language will be considered a plus.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet operational demands.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with housekeeping management software systems.
Proactive approach and commitment to excellence.
A degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Certification in Housekeeping Management or related disciplines will be considered a plus.
