Belmond is recruiting an Area Director of Revenue for the Belmond luxury properties located in
Italy, Spain and Portugal.
The Area Director of Revenue will be responsible to implement the revenue strategies in order to
optimize the revenue, market share and profits for multiple properties in different areas and
countries.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:
* Driving market share and revenue performance through proper pricing and mix management
using competitive reports;
* Implementation of the revenue strategies and compliance with the Belmond Revenue
Management procedures
* Prepares and owns demand and capacity revenue forecasting process, including annual budget
* Identify new revenue opportunities;
* Ensures a consistent and effective RM meeting structure so commercial strategies and activities
can be agreed and evaluated with key stake-holders on a regular basis
* Monitor availability and pricing to ensure all the properties are in line with the strategy;
* Monitor the competitive pricing and understand the impact of pricing decisions in the property’s
performance;
* Maintain accuracy and timely entry of all relevant data in systems, review and analyse data on an
ongoing basis
* Collect, gather, generate and distribute critical data such as market research, distribution channel
breakdown/efficiency.
* Complete understanding and effective execution of current and new Revenue Management tools
including: PMS, CRS, RMS, Business Intelligence platform and any new/similar tools or reports
* Identify and communicate enhancements affecting Revenue Management from all Revenue
Management tools
* Support and work together with the Commercial teams (Reservation, Sales and Marketing) in
implementing the strategies.
* Actively supports the development and deployment of new (RM-related) technology, tools and
other global projects and initiatives
* Leads Southern Europe’s RM team and develops future RM talent within local team

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
* Effective leadership competences skills and enjoys driving results through collaboration. Is
adaptable and global perspective.
* Excellent communicator with strong emotional intelligence
* Working experience within hotel reservations, sales and or revenue management of minimum 10-
5 years
* Strategic, and strong analytical skills
* Proven ability to work independently, in charge of multiple properties; balance competing
customer requests and negotiate deliverables and deliverable dates with stakeholders
* Knowledgeable of HMS (PMS), Synxis (CRS), G3 (RMS) and Tableau is
* Fluent in English spoken and written skills, Italian is desirable
* Prepared to travel upon request
* University degree
