Si è letto nella Gazzetta Ufficiale del 20/03/2020: “Ai sensi dell’art. 122 del decreto-legge 17 marzo 2020, n. 18, con decreto del Presidente del Consiglio dei ministri 18 marzo 2020, il dott. Domenico Arcuri è stato nominato Commissario straordinario per l’attuazione e il coordinamento delle misure occorrenti per il contenimento e contrasto dell’emergenza epidemiologica COVID-19”.
Sappiamo come è finita con l’arrivo alla presidenza del Consiglio di Mario Draghi. Nei giorni in cui si annunciavano i vasti cambiamenti nella gestione della pandemia mi ha colpito un’intervista, appunto, al Commissario Arcuri che, indicando tra il dito pollice e il medio una minuscola porzione, affermava: “È un vero peccato, eravamo tanto così dal risolvere il problema…”. Se lo dice lui!
La notte talvolta mi sveglio (succede alle persone anziane…) e vado in cucina a farmi un caffè; mentre aspetto il gorgoglio della bevanda che esce riempiendo la stanza del suo aroma, in genere accendo la tv e faccio un po’ di zapping; le ultime notizie dei vari Tg, un documentario e le serie di telefilm gialli. Qualche notte fa, sul canale 39 mi sono soffermato su un episodio di Chicago P.D., una storia particolarmente cruda e violenta. Ad un certo punto, memore dell’intervista di Arcuri, sono sobbalzato: un investigatore, disperato, affermava, mostrando un minuscolo spazio tra il pollice e l’indice: “È un vero peccato, eravamo a tanto così da arrestare l’assassino”.
Non sia mai che il Commissario Arcuri abbia visto il filmato, si sia adeguato, e abbia formato la sua comunicazione su di esso?
Ora però siamo passati dai telefilm ai film d’autore, ci auguriamo che il Governo di Mario Draghi vinca l’Oscar
We read in the Italian Official Gazette of 20 March 2020: “Pursuant to art. 122 of Decree Law N. 18 of 17 March 2020, by decree of the President of the Council of Ministers dated 18 March 2020, Mr. Domenico Arcuri was appointed as Extraordinary Commissioner for the implementation and coordination of the measures to contain and combat the epidemiological emergency COVID-19″.
We know how it ended with the advent of Mario Draghi to the presidency of the Council of Ministers. During the days when vast changes were being announced in the management of the pandemic, I was struck by an interview precisely with Commissioner Arcuri, who lifted his hand to show a small distance between his thumb and middle finger and said: “It is really a pity, we were just this far from solving the problem…”. If he says so!
Sometimes I wake up during the night (as it happens to the elderly…) and I go to the kitchen to make myself some coffee; while I wait for the coffee to gurgle up and fill the room with its scent, I usually switch on the TV and do some zapping: the latest news, some documentary and TV series. A few nights ago, I watched an episode of Chicago P.D. on channel 39, a particularly crude and violent story. At one point, being reminiscent of Arcuri’s interview, I jumped: a helpless detective, showing a minuscule distance between his thumb and forefinger, was saying “It is a real pity, we were this much away from arresting the killer”.
Might it be that Commissioner Arcuri saw the film, was inspired by it, and based his communication on it?
Now, however, we have moved from TV movies to art films, and we hope that Mario Draghi will win the Oscar!
