We are recruiting a REVENUE MANAGER to join the Italian Regional Revenue Management team. He/she will be responsible for successfully leading the Revenue Management efforts for the Italian hotels under the guidance of the Regional Director Revenue of Management for Italy as well as proactive analyse performance.
He/she will monitor demand trends, booking pattern, pace and market conditions and trends, which are to be translated into Total Hotel Revenue Management strategies, used to realize the maximum amount of revenue for the hotel, achieve revenue goals and grow market share, whilst being extremely cognizant of the Rocco Forte Hotels brand.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage inventory for the hotel to maximize revenue. Ensure a consistent and rational hotel pricing and yield strategy across all channels and all segments. Prepare Monthly and Weekly Forecasts (DayXDay) for all transient segments, group (based on feedback from Sales/Conference Services) and other business units, i.e. function space and spa. Participate in the preparations of the transient and group rooms budgets, with the input of sales and contribute to the development of the transient and group portion of the hotel's marketing plan. Provide data to the team for the purpose of analyzing and evaluating specific business segments, specific accounts, market segment mix (Group vs. Transient and its sub-segments), room type demand, channel production and geographical mix, recognizing trends and patterns. Analyze and communicate business trends and booking pace in comparison to the market, last year, forecast and budget. Continually analyze transient demand, price sensitivity and booking patterns, recognize trends and their relevance to one another and provide pricing, inventory and selling strategy recommendations. Assist in developing 3-month, 6-month, and 12-months strategic action plans for the management of the transient revenues. Evaluate Daily, Weekly and Monthly Market Share reports to understand trends and opportunities vs. competitive set and the market as a whole and ensure targeted relative RevPar positioning is achieved. Effectively use systems (PMS, SynXis, IdeaS, BI.), to determine, implement, manage and control accurate and agreed upon selling strategies. Maintain accurate reservation system information in all Distribution Channels. Regularly check GDS systems for hotel positioning, information accuracy and competitor positioning for the hotel.

MANDATORY SKILLS
Must have a minimum of (3+) years Revenue Management experience as a department head, ideally with another luxury hotel company. Proficient user of MS Excel. Experienced user of business intelligence tools such as TravelCLICK's suite of products, STR.

DESIRABLE SKILLS
System knowledge of SynXis, IDeaS and Protel.
Pre-opening experience in either Reservations or Revenue Management.
